Gigi The Doula

Remembering My Why

Two years ago, I had the honor of supporting my sister, a mother of twins, male and female. She and her husband faced a unique challenge in their journey to parenthood. That led them to seek IVF to ensure the health of their future children. Witnessing their strength and resilience during this process was deeply inspiring, and it reinforced the importance of having informed, compassionate support during such critical moments.

As a doula, I aim to arm families with the knowledge, advocacy, and the care they deserve. Witnessing the transformation of my sister’s hope into reality was one of the most profound experiences of my life. From the struggles and triumphs, to conducting tarot readings to affirm her through doubts and worries, to her labor and delivery, the experience of babies at the nicu - as they were premature, to holding two babies in our arms, and late night feedings every two hours, I stood by her side. Today, those babies are thriving, animated and beautifully intelligent toddlers who are learning to speak, who now walk, run and give so much light and love to our lives. I feel deeply honored to have been part of their growth. It is moments like these that inspire me to become the best doula I can be. This was not my first time providing care for a mother and child, but it was the moment I knew I had found my calling.

Being able to give a worried parent support through such a vulnerable and transformative time is both a privilege and a responsibility. As a doula, I’m building on my natural instincts and experiences to provide families with the reassurance, education, & advocacy they need to navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with confidence. I want to support clients with sensitivity and empathy. This is a calling rooted in my passion for helping people thrive during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

I am so grateful for the support and care Giselle Ramirez has given me throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey. She has always been kind, patient, and encouraging, making me feel supported every step of the way.

What I appreciated most was how she celebrated every little milestone with me, from my baby successfully latching to helping me increase my milk supply. She also made sure this journey felt less overwhelming and even enjoyable by bringing humor, reassurance, and positivity during moments when I needed it most. Her guidance and encouragement gave me confidence as a new mom.

Giselle is truly an amazing support person who goes above and beyond for the families she works with. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated. I will always be thankful for the positive impact she has had on me and my son.

Giselle was an incredible source of support throughout my pregnancy and beyond. She brought a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and calming presence to every stage of my journey, helping me prepare for my scheduled C-section with confidence and reassurance.

Her support continued through my postpartum recovery, where she offered practical help, compassionate care, and steady encouragement when I needed it most. She also supported me as I adjusted to life with my new baby and toddler. I am deeply grateful for her care and would recommend her without hesitation.

Twelve years later, we are still so grateful that she was part of the journey that brought us Xander. My pregnancy was incredibly challenging, filled with severe PCOS, an arcuate uterus, placenta previa, heavy bleeding, and so much uncertainty. Giselle helped us navigate every fear, and every emotional roller coaster with incredible compassion and calm.

What makes Giselle extraordinary is that she is deeply knowledgeable and evidence-based, while also providing the warmth, reassurance, & emotional support every family needs.

After our son was born, Giselle continued to be our anchor. She helped us survive the sleepless nights, cared for our son with the same love and dedication she would give her own family, and supported us as we learned to become parents. Her patience, kindness, and steady presence carried us through some of our most vulnerable moments.

We cannot imagine those early days without her, and we will always be grateful for the love, care, and wisdom she gave our family. We recommend Giselle not only as a doula, but as a lifelong source of support and care.

Giselle was an amazing addition to our twin team! Having twins was the hardest thing I have ever had to do and it was just my husband and I.

I had a high risk pregnancy which resulted in a C- section and my recovery wasn’t the easiest. Giselle helped with it all! From my surgery recovery to bottle feeding, burping, changing diapers and clothes to emotional support for the entire family! She was the missing piece to my postpartum recovery and we absolutely loved to have her for the first year of our babies lives!

Giselle is kind, patient, thoughtful and caring. Giselle always knew what I needed before I even knew, which was such a beautiful thing to have during such a hectic time in our lives.

Oasis: Creating Ideal Care Menus with Juli & Josette

“Creating Ideal Care Menus”

Let's be real: these systems seek to disregulate our bodies at every turn especially while working towards liberation - violence towards our bodies, gaslighting what we know is true, everything this war machine can do to crush our spirits and extract energy from us.

We invite aligned community members to a portal of healing to recharge, reground & alchemize for collective liberation after days of tireless protest and advocacy. While we center trauma informed care, we know that there is no true rest and healing so long as colonial harm continues.

May our offering to the community help you walk with unshakeable peace, ground in the power of your spiritual guides (God, Spirit, Universe, angels, ancestors, etc), and make your liberation work sustainable for the long run. WE KEEP US SAFE!
